My truck camper patch collection: Part 1

This post probably won’t come across as informative but I thought it would be cool to keep tabs on my patch collection right here at my truck camper blog.

Now that the insulation and paneling is finally done I can do things like sticking up my patches and organizing storage nets. Since I finished the upper wall area of my OVRLND camper with carpet squares, Velcro patches easily adhere and if they don’t have Velcro, I simply cut out a piece of sticky-back Velcro and stick it to the back of the patch. Easy peasy.

The patch collection

I don’t have a huge collection, but all of those are meaningful, quirky, or just reflect places we like visiting. I never intended to start a collection, these were mostly just scattered around the house. I figured now is a good time to start a real collection and showcase them. Here we go!

From left to right:

Gazelle Tents (love the brand), Violent Gentlemen (really cool hockey apparel), T-Rex (my daughter loves the Natural History Museum of LA), Waystar-Royco (funny show my wife and I like and she got it for me 😍), Brown 23 (we’re huge LA Kings hockey fans and Brown is a legend), Joshua Tree, Deftones (favorite band), Pioneer Town (cool old Western down at the start of my favorite trail), The Parthenon (visited this replica building when we went to Nashville), Underlanders (a tongue-in-cheek name for a overlanding group I road with a few times), and lastly 395 (because that highway is amazing).

Whew! When I add 4 or 5 more patches I’ll do another update.

If anyone is interested in that LED clock, it’s battery operated and stays “always on” which is what I wanted. Here’s the link.

Happy camping everybody!
